Daily pictures of life... images that capture my attention. My goal is to capture at least one picture a day to reflect the beauty of life.

Frank Kendralla > Boys having fun in the summer... I have a handful of shots I took last night and this one stood out as an interesting caption... The reflections behind the boys almost look as if there is a fire from their "fun". However, it is a reflection in glass... I am considering entering a modified version of this in the LPS contest... thoughts?

Frank Kendralla > This is another picture from buttermilk falls in Beaver Falls, PA. A much closer shot than the previous and I played extensively with the B&W. The leaves almost appear silver.
Frank Kendralla > Early this morning I was in the back of the garage putting out the bird feed and cleaning up after our nightly visitors (raccoons) and a glow came across the backyard causing me to turn toward the sun rise. When I turned around I was presented with a color palate painted in the sky that was breathtaking. I immediately ran to my truck to get my camera and snapped off 6 or so shots before the sky turned a milky white as the sun hid behind the fast moving clouds. (This was very early and would have made a nice backdrop over the lake at the park.) I do hope the color is presented as well on the screen as it was in life... This is one advantage of 50 degree nights and 80 degree days in the summer.

Frank Kendralla > This was taken in Buttermilk Falls near Beaver Falls PA near the PA turnpike exchange. I drive by this area on a weekly basis but never stopped to explore its beauty. Yesterday I decided to hike back into the woods via a path and immediately was taken back by the quietness and beauty that I drove by and never realized. This is my first attempt at a waterfall image. Any comments are welcome. I converted it to B&W in Lightroom to enhance the contrast.
Frank Kendralla > A full view of the smoke tree in our front yard. The dew combined with the sunrise enhances the beauty of the the smoke tree.
