Frank Kendralla > Immediately after a thunderstorm the sun came out in time for it to set. The mist came off the grass and everything glowed as if in a movie. I have been watching this scene [my backyard] for weeks waiting for the right moment.
Frank Kendralla > 7.10.08 Last night the sky was beautiful and the clouds were filled with characters. Notice the dragon in the lower center portion of the sky. I adjusted the contrast in Lightroom some to emphasize the drama of the sky.
Frank Kendralla > 8.04.08 Out of all the images I shot in Akron this is my favorite. Why? I find it amusing that grown adults with metal in their hands must be told to seek shelter during a severe storm with 'electricity' flying in the air. Amazing! Now when kids do something so foolish adults scream and yell. "If you get hit by lighting don't come running to me!" or "If you fall and break your leg, don't come running to me!" It reminds me of the scene in one of Tyler Perry's movies with Madea. Madea slaps the kid around 'cuz he is acting stupid.

Oh well... I have another image of people hiding under a metal set of stairs. "In a lighting storm." Go figure!
Frank Kendralla > This is a sunrise of the coast in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was a breathtaking moment!
Frank Kendralla > June 29, 2008 We have a few figs on our fig tree.
Frank Kendralla > Our first snow fall of the season. It was so "pretty" I didn't want to walk on it... This is our walk way in the front of the house.
Frank Kendralla > Pittsburgh Airshow, Wings over Pittsburgh. I converted this to B & W and added some 'grain' for effect. To give the impression on an old war movie photo.

Frank Kendralla > 7.12.08 One of many low light captures from a youth event I shot at our church. Victory Family Church in Cranberry Twp, PA. I was walking back to my car with both cameras in hand and I saw this great image developing. My D200's card was full and was in my left hand. All I could do was lift my D50 [with the 50mm f/1.8] to my eye and shoot. I couldn't steady the camera but I didn't want to miss the shot. I loved the shadows and the mood that was presented in the shot.
