Frank Kendralla > Sunset from our backyard in Chippewa. It was one of the prettiest we ever saw from our home. I nearly missed capturing the image as we stood and watched the beauty unfold before our eyes. This image is from my Nikon 70-300 vr standing in our backyard. Although the image is striking, it does not represent the awe we felt witnessing it in person.
Frank Kendralla > 8.19.08 Dentist anyone? :-] Now this is trust between a husband and wife.
Frank Kendralla > June 22, 2008: My wife and I took a trip to Avon Lake [Cleveland, OH] and while walking along this letter "C" nearly jumped out at me. Or it could be a side view of a bird/animal with a blunt beak. Either way, I thought it was very interesting. Using Lightroom 2.0, I used the new vignette tool to create a more pronounced image.
Frank Kendralla > This is from a few weekends ago. My daughter's Rottweiler, Boss, loves to play in the snow. He is an amazing dog and loves to play with kids. He is still a puppy weighing in at ninety pounds.
Frank Kendralla > This little guy was "fearless". It stayed still while I took many different shots. Notice the focal length. I was within inches of the bird. It was almost as if it was posing for me. I took this in Florida.
Frank Kendralla > The bushes and trees continue to bloom in full color. This is a bush in our front yard. :-]
Frank Kendralla > July 5, 08. The newest dog to our 'family'. The little ball of fur is my daughter's Yorkie Poo. Very cute little dog. She is playing with my other daughter's Not full Grown Rottweiler. He let the little 2 pound dog bite him and did not fight back. I can imagine him thinking. What is this little ball of fur trying to do. Doesn't she know she is no bigger than the rabbit I ate last week? Oh well, I know I am to let her think she is winning.
Frank Kendralla > 7.28.08 Another image from the Polo fields. Played under lights on dirt and grass mixture. The one rider told me the Darlington Polo Gronds is the oldest polo field still in use in the United States. Wow! In my backyard. It must be one of the best kept secrets. :-) I converted it to B&W to give it an older look to illustrate the age of the field.
Frank Kendralla > My first attempt at shooting a polo match. I have other images in my polo gallery from the shoot. It was a lot of fun. The dust was very thick making it difficult at times to obtain a sharp image. The sun was going down fast and my later shots are not as sharp. Darlington Polo Grounds in Darlington, PA
